What is High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound?

High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) is a non-invasive, non-surgical medical aesthetic treatment. The treatment principle involves focusing ultrasound energy at specific depths beneath the skin, heating tissues to approximately 60-70°C, thereby promoting tightening and collagen regeneration.

HIFU technology can reach deep into the skin, particularly targeting the fascia layer (SMAS layer) located at approximately 4.5mm depth, which is the key structure affecting facial contour and elasticity.
