Dr. Sam NG is a senior clinical psychologist with a rich medical background. After graduating from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Hong Kong, he worked as a dentist and deeply experienced the interrelationship and influence between physical and psychological emotions, developing a strong interest in clinical psychology theory, research, and practice. He subsequently completed his Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and Ph.D. at the University of Hong Kong, becoming a practicing clinical psychologist.
Dr. Sam founded Smile & Face in 2014, initially operating with a medical aesthetic doctor, focusing on providing personalized dental, psychological, and medical aesthetic services. Since 2017, the team has gradually expanded, introducing dental specialists, surgeons, physiotherapists, and clinical neuroscience services, developing into a comprehensive medical center.
After completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Taipei Medical University, Dr. Chen further pursued her Master's degree in Community Dentistry at the University of Hong Kong, deepening her understanding of community dental care and focusing on providing comprehensive oral health care services while participating in public health work with the Department of Health.
After completing her physiotherapy degree in the United States, Ms. Chan returned to Hong Kong to pursue her Master's degree in Neuroscience, specializing in neurological rehabilitation and pain management. She has extensive clinical experience, having worked in multiple hospitals and rehabilitation centers.
She is skilled in developing personalized rehabilitation plans for patients, combining traditional physiotherapy techniques with modern neuroscience theory to help patients restore mobility and improve quality of life. Ms. Chan particularly focuses on sports injury rehabilitation and post-stroke rehabilitation treatment.
Mr. Kam Wah HO holds diplomas and practice certificates from multiple countries including the UK, USA, Canada, Scotland, and Hong Kong, and possesses a Master's degree in Bioengineering. He has been engaged in clinical rehabilitation medicine and training education for over 40 years. His career spans Canada, Germany, Singapore, Hong Kong, and mainland China, accumulating rich clinical practice and teaching experience. He was the first Chinese person to serve as the Greater China Business and Technical Director at the German Ottobock Medical Group, promoting orthotic technology and business development. Over the years, he has shared professional knowledge in mainstream media and special lectures at home and abroad, actively promoting social awareness and support for the field of orthotics.
Since the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake, he has actively provided free prosthetics and orthotic services to the injured and assisted in establishing the Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital Rehabilitation Center. In 2015, he established China's first private rehabilitation engineering training college, focusing on cultivating a new generation of rehabilitation professionals.
